Our Digital Team work with internal and client teams to enhance cyber security, improve and innovate service delivery, and to drive business decisions with the use of D&A and intelligent automation tools and techniques.
Our projects need a high degree of collaboration and a good mix of knowledge, problem solving, business analytics, research and development skills.
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the team. Digital innovation and transformation is a key strategic area for KPMG and this presents an excellent opportunity to grow professionally.

Main responsibilities

• Analysis and Reporting: • Preparation and analysis of financial and management reports
• Analysis, using data collection, statistical and mathematical methods, relational databases (SQL), data workbench & visualisation tools to support internal and client-focused project delivery
• Solution Development: • Work with business, product and technology development teams to define client/internal improvement opportunities, to conduct lifecycle analysis and to define requirements for technical solutions
• Lead and work on solution development, including the evaluation of suitable digital tools and existing technical solutions, developing, documenting and rolling out the solution
• Provide hands-on technical expertise to colleagues and clients in their evaluation and use of digital tools or solution development
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including machine learning and blockchain technologies.

The role requires good analytical, technical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. This individual must be a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills. This individual must be able to establish solid, collaborative relationships with contacts at all levels of the organization as well as externally with clients, partners, third parties and others, when necessary.

Specifications/Qualifications

• 2+ Years experience working in data and analytics, preferably in financial services • Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience (Preferred) • Proven work experience in extracting, cleaning, preparing and modeling data, preferably with experience of using SQL • Experience with analysis for and in the preparation of financial or management reports (Preferred) • Experience with data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques (Preferred) • Knowledge and experience using software for analyzing and presenting datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Knowledge of basic programming (Preferred) •Good team working, organizational, presentation and communication skills.
