Package: Circa- £32,000 + 24 Days Holiday + Pension Scheme + Performance Bonus + Private Health + Dental Package + Death in Service + 37.5 hours p/w + 5 years residency required
Reporting to the CI Data Engineering Manager, we currently have one permanent Level 2 post available who will be responsible for Tier 2 Data support and/or deployment activities for JT’s customers in their area of expertise.
You will be supporting areas such as our Managed Services, provided to both retail and wholesale clients ensuring that customer SLAs and business KPIs are met or exceeded.   Service Management will include the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of CI and government customers within Data products / services such as Routing, Switching, Firewall and Wifi, predominantly based on Cisco and Meraki technologies.

Experience and Qualification: 
  • Pass product specific exams to prove competency as dictated by the manufacturers to meet their support requirements.
  • Having attained or be working towards a minimal professional level qualification e.g. Cisco CCNA, ideally having started ICND1.  Alternatively qualifications such as CCNP, CCVP, CCNP Voice, CCNP Security, CCNP Wireless or Microsoft equivalent.  NB: these qualifications must be kept current.
  • Pass specialist exams to enable JT to attain company accreditation with manufacturers, which in turn leads to the company receiving enhanced service, support, and product discounts.
  • Detailed in-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN and voice technologies with the capability to adapt as technology evolves.
  • Foundation ITIL.
