Full Description
An opportunity to lead a highly successful and trusted management consultancy business in Jersey. The Director: Head of Jersey will be responsible for developing and
establishing CBO’s Jersey business. It is a pivotal role in the ongoing growth
of the Channel Islands’ trusted partner for project and change delivery.
ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities of the Director is the establishment of a
Jersey company, nurturing a professional network and book of business, and
supporting the growth and development of a Jersey-based team.
This is a full-time, permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week (open
to 30 hours). CBO offer a high level of autonomy and flexibility in the
management of working time, along with a competitive salary and wider
remuneration package aligned to the individual’s level of skills and
experience.

QualificationsIn order to succeed in this role, we are seeking an individual with
the skills and experience required to embed and strengthen CBO’s business in
Jersey. These include:
- A desire to play a critical role in a growing firm, enhancing the professional services market in the Channel Islands.
- Experience in leading and managing professional services organisations.
- Experience of managing colleagues, including those in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to nurture and maintain a client base, complemented by the ability to act as a credible ambassador for a company.
- Experience of building a professional services team, both through recruitment and through the professional development of existing employees.
We are also seeking an individual who would have the ability to lead client engagements. This will require:
- Significant experience in delivering professional services aligned with one or more of our Service Lines, supported by an associated professional qualification or accreditation.
- Strong business acumen and ability to focus on value for the client.
- Confidence and the ability to engage effectively with the most senior stakeholders, such as Company Boards.
- Dedication to mentoring and leading high-performance teams.
