Jersey Women’s Refuge (JWR) is looking to recruit a professional, dynamic and enthusiastic person to spearhead our Engagement and Fundraising strategy, raise our profile and engage a variety of current and new stakeholders in supporting our wide-ranging services.
The Engagement Officer role is a key player in the development and delivery of the JWR engagement plan which aims to drive income growth and develop meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with the community.
Bringing an important network of island wide contacts to facilitate fundraising for the charity, the person will become one of the ‘faces’ of JWR. The appointee will be expected to represent the organisation at various events and meetings and may be required to participate in media events, interviews and other media features for the benefit of JWR. Raising the profile of the charity will be a key part of the role together with the Communications Officer.
