One Year Contract

This senior appointment is for the very first Executive Officer of the Jersey Retail Association (JRA). The JRA, which was established earlier this year, is the voice of retailing in Jersey and the successful candidate will be responsible for championing and promoting the retail sector to all stakeholders including the States of Jersey, retailers and consumers.

The main functions of the JRA are to:

• be the established voice of retailing in Jersey
• support members in the operation of their businesses
• raise the profile and recognition of the sector amongst stakeholders

Key Responsibilities of this Role are

1.         Executive Support
2.         Membership Support
3.         Strategy Development
4.         Marketing, PR and Events

This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to build a start-up organisation that will shape the future of the retail industry in Jersey. Supported by the Executive Committee, the candidate will have a hands-on role in helping to develop member businesses and address the key issues that are holding the industry back.
