Jersey Sport seeks to appoint an experienced Fundraising and Enterprising Manager to lead the development of a Fundraising and Enterprising Strategy to support our charitable and strategic purposes.

As Fundraising and Enterprising Manager, you should be passionate about raising and generating income that supports all islanders to enjoy the benefits of sport and physical activity. You should be able to demonstrate skills that will enable you to succeed in fundraising and income generation from diverse sources.

The Fundraising and Enterprising Manager will further the work of our committed team at Jersey Sport by securing funding for our targeted intervention programmes and by identifying areas of the Charity to be more creative in relation to generating additional income that supports our mission to ensure sport and physical activity in Jersey are equitable and accessible to all islanders.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

Proven strategic fundraising experience.
Experience of delivering successful fundraising engagement campaigns and events – including monitoring budgets and expenditure.
Outgoing, confident and results driven individual.
Ability to build and develop relationships that are meaningful and long lasting.
Excellent writing and presentation skills, including public speaking.
Ability to work flexibly and under own initiative to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are prioritised.
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Ability to work across teams and departments in a collaborative manner and to proactively engage with colleagues on projects and initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to network, influence and build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
Trustworthy, reliable, and demonstrable discretion.
Commitment to safeguarding.
Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent through experience and CPD.
