Our client is looking for an individual to manage an effective delivery of a pro-active, positive, efficient and supportive Human Resources function covering approximately 310 FTE employees across Jersey and Guernsey.

The priority is to ensure that the Human Resources objectives are aligned with the business strategies, delivering a Human Resources service to the business taking into consideration recruitment and retention strategy, learning and career development initiatives, identifying and developing ‘high potential’, succession planning, market intelligence and change management - these will be achieved by the implementation and development of a comprehensive Human Resources framework and supporting policies and procedures in-line with Head Office policies and the ensuring compliance with Human Resources legislation across Jersey and Guernsey.

The ideal candidate will have excellent working knowledge of Employment, Discrimination and Data Protection legislation in Jersey and Guernsey, will be able to think strategically and commercially, will have strong organisational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Additionally, they will demonstrate strong project management and be able to ensure the delivery of multiple projects in parallel and have the ability to produce new HR initiatives in-line with business strategy.

If you can demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills - ideally gained within a professional services environment, solid self-management skills including good organisational skills, initiative, ability to priorities and adherence to deadlines and strong interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.

Applicants should be CIPD qualified and have experience in managing and developing an HR function, ideally within a professional services environment.
