Unique opportunity - a busy town centre 3-star
hotel (open all year) is looking for a new Hotel Manager.
The successful candidate is expected to be
self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic with the ability to work
on their own initiative and stay calm under pressure.
The applicant will have a proven track record as either a Hotel
Manager or have worked in a senior management role in a hotel
and is looking to step up to Hotel Manager. You will
have knowledge of the local market, and work to a high standard. You will
have the ability to motivate staff and have a proactive sales approach, whilst
never compromising on excellent quality and service delivery. Revenue Management
and Project Management skills would be an advantage.

Your Duties will include
Dealing with
guests and team members to provide an outstanding hotel experience
Knowledge of market and ability to generate
revenue by offer additions and meeting targets.
Delegating and managing a great team of
various levels
Monitor customer transactions and feedback
given to individuals for improvement through regular performance reviews
To be the main
point of contact for team members at the hote
Recruiting and
staff management
Creating rotas,
managing holidays and communicating with H
Experience and
knowledge of working with food and beverage
Checking
equipment and working space to ensure hygiene standards are met at all time
Using a till
system and handling cash
Stock rotation
Analysing profit
and loss and reducing costs where possible.
Adhere to health
and safety regulations and work with any relevant auditors
Liaise with
suppliers and placing orders when necessary
