Package- Circa £45,000 + 24 Days Holiday + Pension Scheme + Performance Bonus + Private Health + Dental Package + Death in Service + 37.5 hours p/w + Retainer + 5 years residency NOT required. Do you love working with IP? Can you efficiently manage all of our IP networks and services? Are you great with providing technical support? Then this could be the perfect role for you. Reporting to our IP Network Manager, Brian Foster, this role is responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of all of our JT IP networks, services and their associated tools. The role is also key in providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support and expertise to staff, customers, suppliers and other operators. In addition the role is also required to plan, complete and oversee the implementation, provisioning and testing of new and existing network equipment and services. Experience, Skills &Qualifications

Essential Experience, Skills &Qualifications

Solid understanding in

IP inter-networking
LAN Switching
WAN technologies(Cisco MPLS, VPLS, IPSEC, GRE)
IP Routing protocols (ISIS, OSPF, NHRP, BGP)
Day-to-day management of firewalls

Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Working knowledge of servers running Linux and Windows operating systems.
Be familiar with virtualisation techniques, Apache, SQL, PHP, PERL and the use of open source software.
Capable of researching and assimilating new technologies within IP networking.
