Package- Circa £70,00026 Days Holiday + Pension Scheme + Performance Bonus + Private Health + Dental Package + Death in Service Permanent ContractWould you like to get your hands on JT’s physical and virtual IP Networks Infrastructure and step in to a management role?
We are looking for an IP Networks Manager . Reporting to our Head of Networks & Infrastructure Ronald van de Ven and managing a team of seven direct reports, the successful applicant will manage and deliver low level design, implementation, operational performance, capacity and maintenance of our JT physical and virtual IP Networks infrastructure, aligned with products and the service needs of the business. In addition, the post holder will implement JT’s IP Networks infrastructure strategy, moving towards a physical and virtual infrastructure while having the ability to respond to new and changed service requirements, to agreed security compliance, certification and agility.Experience/Qualifications

Hold relevant technical qualifications (as defined from time to time) or able to obtain the qualifications within 24 months of appointment. Specific examples are; Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCNS.
Must establish and maintain an in-depth knowledge of current and future IP based technologies and physical and virtual environments, in order to contribute to the identification of advances and improvements in ICT
Experience of delivering IP network infrastructure projects and assessing solution performance and recommending Service Improvement Initiatives within large enterprise communication solutions.
Experience constructing comprehensive quotes and/or proposals and the relevant numerical skills in order to technically size network load capacity requirements.
Create and modify operational and technical procedures and/or best practice documents.
Thorough understanding of IP Networks and services in a communications service provider environment including subjects like; IP MPLS Core, Internet Backbone, Broadband networks, IP protocols including SIP, SIGTRAN, SDN, NFV.
Expert understanding of ISP services / protocols /network concepts (inc: IP, TCP, DNS, Mail, HTTP(s), routing, switching concepts, load balancers, layer 7 firewalls etc)
Previous extensive experience working to and contributing to company security policy compliance as well as industry standard certification like ISO 27001.
Awareness of the regulations, accreditations and certifications that telco’s need to comply with, within various geographic jurisdictions.
Hold one or both of these certifications, CCNP (routing/switching or service provider) or equivalent.
