As the IT Training Manager you will be responsible for designing and delivering organisation wide learning and development programmes that promote best-practice. You will lead on all training following systems implementation by identifying and advising on training requirements and developing training plans, working closely with all technology project managers to ensure training is developed and embedded for all key programmes.
Defining the organisation's educational programme, you will help reduce the risk to the organisation to ensure all employees, staff, contractors and third parties understand their responsibilities with regards to the implementation of all new technologies. Youll need to be confident in e-learning technology, designing and delivering e-learning courses, workshops and other offerings and should have experience in a similar role, although this doesnt need to be an IT role, a knowledge of Information Management and Security practices will be really beneficial.
You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organisations IT, Information Management and Information Security learning and development programme, this is a hugely exciting time to join Modernisation and Digital in the Government of Jersey.
