Full Description

Islanders who are passionate about ensuring public money is spent efficiently are encouraged to apply for the role of a non-elected member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). Members will join the newly elected Chair, Deputy Inna Gardiner, and elected States Members, to play a significant role in scrutinising if taxpayers’ money is being used efficiently, effectively, and economically, to deliver value for money for Islanders.

This part-time voluntary role would best suit senior professionals including, but not limited to, Digital and Information Technology, Human Resources, capital project and public and third sector experience. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate strong teamwork, analytical and communications skills, and be available to regularly attend bi-weekly meetings, which usually occur on Wednesdays and last for around 3 hours.
