Purpose of the role Working within the Jersey Finance department, this role will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts and other internal reporting for all in-house entities and interpreting financial information to help drive business performance. Key Responsibilities Preparation of management accounts and other internal reporting for group entities. Help drive business performance through interpretation of financial information and effective business partnering. Cost management with Partners, Business Services Directors and Local Practice Managers to ensure adherence to budget and efficient use of scarce resources. Managing external shared cost relationships. Analysing financial reports and identifying key trends. Managing the Group's internal cost allocation methodologies. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and multi-year planning. Prepare forward forecasting models to assist with business planning. Provide accurate, timely and comprehensive financial management information to the Partners and Directors to assist with business decision making.CompetenciesQualified accountant (preferably CIMA, ACCA or ACA or equivalent). Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and competent with other Microsoft Office and financial packages. Experience with using SQL not essential but desired. Ability to demonstrate high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking. Proactive, energetic and results driven with 'get it done' attitude and proven track record of driving tasks to successful completion. Ability to multi-task. High quality communication style, both verbal and written, to influence decision makers. Ability to work effectively in a team and use own initiative.
