Managing Director
Jersey, Channel Islands / Competitive Salary + Comprehensive Benefit Package
A well-established insurance broker with a strong portfolio in the Channel Islands has an opportunity for an experienced leader.  As Managing Director, the successful candidate will drive the strategy and manage the operational function, maintaining dialogue with all stakeholders.  As the business continues to expand and maximise the potential of their general insurance market share the MD will be responsible for delivering agreed customer service standards and business objectives through their leadership of the business. 

As part of wider initiatives, the MD will drive the company culture towards expansion and success by being both an inspirational leader and an integral part of the team.  The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and look for new opportunities to benefit the local and wider business and motivate all employees in the business. 
To be considered candidates will need to demonstrate expertise in the following areas: 
Insurance Qualification (ACII, or other relevant professional qualification)

• A comprehensive general insurance background and knowledge
• A proven track record of professional and inspirational leadership 
• Knowledge of the wider insurance market
• The ability to drive change within the business and company culture
• The ability to generate pace and energy from all teams within a business
• Delivering service excellence in a customer-focused environment
