Full Description

JOA is looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Monitoring and Impact Officer to join our small professional team. Based in St Helier, you will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of JOA’s ongoing international development projects through in-country monitoring visits, where you will engage with project partners, community members, and government representatives.

You will also play a role in evaluating and selecting new projects to be funded, including conducting appropriate checks on grantees and their partners. You will ensure that a focus on impact and learning is integrated into JOA projects and programmes and will play a key role in helping communicate our work to the Jersey public and the wider world. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about helping others and empirical in their approach in doing so. You will have demonstrable experience in qualitative or quantitative research, the ability to collate and analyse data, excellent IT and communication skills, and a willingness to travel overseas regularly, at times to remote locations. Previous experience working or volunteering in a developing country is highly desirable. Deadline is 5 September 2022
