We’re looking for a Move More Administrator to play a key role within the Move More Jersey Team – supporting the delivery of the Inspiring an Active Jersey Strategy by providing administrative support and being the first point of contact with the public, answering enquiries and booking them into our programmes.
ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Move More Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Move More Jersey, the Move More Operations Manager and the Move More Jersey Team with all administrative tasks associated with the day to day running of Move More Jersey. This will include a range of administrative functions pertaining to, but not exclusive to, volunteer admin management, client bookings, financial processes, reporting, answering the phones, monitoring and responding to Move More Jersey emails.
You will work with the Finance and Booking Officer to support the wider administration functions within Jersey Sport, to ensure these functions contribute positively to providing the exceptional processes required for the efficient and effective operation of Jersey Sport.
As a member of the Move More Jersey Team, you will have a key role in supporting the delivery of the Inspiring an Active Jersey Strategy by providing administrative support to the Move More Jersey programmes and supporting islanders to engage in the programmes.
Our ambition is to engage people with exercise on a regular basis, regardless of age, impairment, or ability so they can weave more exercise into their lifestyle to improve mental and physical wellbeing, as well as to foster a greater sense of independence and confidence.
You will have a key role within the Move More Jersey Team, supporting the delivery of the Inspiring an Active Jersey Strategy by providing administrative support. You will be expected to support the Move More Referral Team with triage and follow up calls with participants who are engaging in our programmes and their onward journey, and will also be the main point of contact for all new volunteers during their onboarding process. As such, exceptional organisational and customer service skills will be required in this role, with the requirement to be able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
This role is key in supporting the delivery of programmes aimed at increasing the activity levels of adults and families experiencing barriers to accessing activities including those with disabilities, sensory impairments, mental health conditions, long term health conditions, sedentary behavioural patterns and who are otherwise disengaged with physical activity.
You will work with Move More Operations Manager and Officers to maximise the resources of the team and programmes, to ensure a high performing team is working to continually develop and improve the pathway for all into physical activity.
SKILLS YOU WILL BRING- Appropriate experience of working in an administration role.
- Evidence of awareness of customer needs and a commitment to continually improving the service to ensure all customers receive a quality service.
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective communication with a wide range of individuals.
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative and as part of an effective team to achieve objectives.
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Data Management systems.
