Jersey Business Limited is a service and advisory support business focused on assisting economic growth for Jersey across all sectors and all sizes of businesses through:

  • Directly supporting individual businesses to achieve their full potential throughout the business lifecycle;
  • Helping drive productivity and sustainability in key sectors to deliver economic growth and;
  • Stimulating and promoting innovation and adoption of market leading practices across the economy.
Established by Government in 2012 with an independent and experienced board we are now seeking to recruit a new Non-Executive Chair and a Non-Executive Director to the board in line with our rotation and diversity strategies.  

The right candidates will have:

  • Proven commercial expertise in the Jersey marketplace;
  • Experience in corporate governance within small and medium sized businesses
  • Strong professional network across their sector of expertise
  • Clear ability to question intelligently, debate constructively, challenge rigorously and decide dispassionately
  • Independence of judgement through courage of convictions

The positions will receive a fee and typically will involve up to 6 formal two hour main board meetings per year together with ad hoc meetings as required.
