As the postal service for Jersey for 225 years, we’re very proud of our history, significant achievements and innovative advancements. There’s no denying that mail volumes in our traditional markets are declining, and the global postal and logistics environment is increasingly complex, competitive and rapidly changing. So, to ensure we continue to drive great returns for our shareholder and deliver exceptional customer service, we’ve embarked on an ambitious strategy of expanding our business to provide strong and sustainable growth into the future.Optimising our skills and experience, and providing flexible solutions for cross border e-commerce, we’ve already acquired UK businesses and established operational partnerships in Australia, Hong Kong, Latin America, UK and USA. Last year, we launched our digital business and recently launched a new business in Guernsey. Integrating traditional and digital channels our business seeks to streamline and improve the customer communication process from design, receipt of data to delivery, storage and response management. We’re now looking for a highly motivated NED to play a meaningful role in steering the company’s direction and supporting the executive with insightful vision, advice, challenge and purpose in the delivery of that strategy in what will continue to be interesting and exciting times. Aside from sound board-level experience, the role will require a finance background and will be expected to chair the Audit Committee.
