our Private Banking arena you will have a clear focus on our key fundamental of
managing relationships as we serve several thousand clients with a strong
British heritage and a portfolio of niche international teams. What makes us

The Role
The purpose of the Private Client Director role is to proactively
forge and enhance relationships with the most sophisticated and valued clients;
to be an ambassador within Fiduciary and across the wider business; and to have
responsibility for the revenue budget, management, development and training
needs, and appraisals
Roles and Responsibilities
- Actively develop and maintain relationships with demanding,
complex and/or ultra-high net worth clients, intermediaries and internal
contacts in order to provide a quality service and provide best possible client
offering and maximise returns to Kleinwort Hambros as a whole;
- Promote the highest quality of trust and company administration in
order to minimise business risk and to encourage a culture of compliance with
policies, appropriate risk management, and the principle of treating customers
fairly;
- Meet financial and non-financial targets as agreed with the Team
Leader in order to maintain a sustainable fiduciary business;
- Act as a technician and expert point of reference for the team and
to support the development of team members;
- Act as individual director of client companies where necessary;
- Conduct appraisal interviews and agree personal development plans;
- Conduct interviews and recruitment of personnel;
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of your personal fiduciary
responsibility in order to protect the client, yourself, the team and the
business;
- To
encourage a culture of upholding the Kleinwort Hambros values and act as a
role model to the team;
- Attend
client meetings as required and maintain full, accurate files/notes of all
meetings/calls/conversations using KH systems to store
Skills and Experience
- A proven track record and with relevant trust and company
experience in a Senior position.
- Meet principle person requirements of local trust company
regulator.
- Ideally hold Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries
& Administrators or Diploma in Offshore Finance & Administration; Or
STEP Diploma in Offshore Trust Management; Or Associate of the Chartered
Institute of Bankers/IFS; Or STEP Diploma for England and Wales (Trusts and
Estates).
- Good understanding of the relevant laws of the local jurisdiction.
- In-depth knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of a
Fiduciary.
- Command of industry best practice in relation to Trust and Company
administration.
- Track record of supervisory or management role.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to deal with conflicting demands under pressure
Ability to demonstrate effective
communication skills.
