Overview:
This position is a multi-functional role managing the purchasing of goods for all areas of the business. The Procurement & Stock Control Manager will manage supplier purchase orders against forecasted and actual demand to ensure continuous availability of product to service customer requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the purchasing and goods inwards processing for Jersey Dairy product ingredients, packaging, chemicals and associated products to meet business needs.
Support the development of purchasing policy, processes and systems.
Liaise with external 3rd party storage and logistic partners to include storage and delivery of goods.
Manage periodic company ‘Stock Takes’ to ensure accurate stock file.
Deputize for stores personnel in their absence to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operation of the dairy stores and goods inwards – goods outwards.

Skills/Experience Required: ·
Proven experience within a similar role preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Computer literate with all standard applications – Office 365, word, excel, etc.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accurate data maintenance.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
Forklift counter balance and reach truck license preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours of Work: This post is a salaried position with normal working at 39 hours per week over five days.
