Full Description

We are looking for three senior Product Portfolio Managers to develop, introduce and manage exciting new products and services for consumers and businesses in the Channel Islands.  

These roles, based in Jersey, will focus respectively on developing new CloudSecurity and Smart services, owning the full product lifecycle from strategic innovation through to delivery and ultimately commercial success.

The three key portfolio areas are:
  • Cloud Products and Services offered to business and domestic customers from our award-winning data centres in Guernsey and Jersey
  • Security services range from end-point protection in the consumer and small business space through to managed enterprise security services with proactive system monitoring and management, delivered either physically or on a SaaS model.
  • Smart Services focus on the exploitation of new technologies which add value to customers in their homes, businesses or while out and about, leveraging our investment in fibre, mobile network connectivity, end user equipment and IoT networks.
 Key Requirements:
  • Product Management qualifications or proven expertise in telecoms or other technology-centric sectors, knowing how to create, communicate and commercialise meaningful roadmaps.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of relevant current and emerging technologies and players in their portfolio area, with the proven ability to identify trends and new opportunities for growth and to bring these to market successfully.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical or technical subjects and enthuse key stakeholders in the company as well as being seen as the natural go-to subject matter expert for the portfolio in the company.
  • Fully data literate, being able to analyse internal and external data to produce credible business cases and product plans, understanding costs (OPEX & CAPEX) and revenue structures.
  • Operate with significant autonomy in a cross-departmental governance structure requiring political and people influencing skills both internally as well as with key external partners and suppliers.
