The Programme Governance Officer provides essential support to the programme management office throughout the programme lifecycle, providing expert advice and guidance regarding compliance with data protection legislation, identification and management of risk and appropriate mitigation's as well as administrative support.
The role involves a high degree of autonomy as well as forming strong working partnerships with stakeholders of all levels, both within and outside of the business, to ensure that areas of risk and data protection are fully considered and given appropriate attention during development and implementation of new IT systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, who is detail oriented and has worked on system replacements/data migrations before.
They must hold or be willing to work towards specific qualification in Governance/Risk and have knowledge of relevant legislation that impacts on role, as well as knowledge of the risk management methodologies and their practical application.
