Programme Officer (Financial Inclusion)

Jersey Overseas Aid – the Island’s official aid agency – is looking for a Programme Officer to join its small professional team.

Based in St Helier, this exciting new role will help ensure that Jersey’s contribution to international aid provides both the maximum benefit for the world’s poor and the highest level of accountability for Jersey’s taxpayers. Reporting to the Head of Programme, the Programme Officer will primarily be responsible for the monitoring and oversight of JOA Financial Inclusion grants, ensuring that projects are implemented as agreed and in accordance with the highest standards of aid effectiveness. He or she will be responsible for developing and embedding expertise within JOA, enabling us to increase the quality of our programming and improve our global reputation in this exciting field.
