Full Description

Digby Wells Environmental, a service provider to the resources industry, is looking for a candidate for the above position in our Jersey office. The successful candidate will be required to assist Project Managers to achieve the functional areas of technical excellence, financial management and management of the project programme. The right individual will be required to ensure that all projects are administrated according to the requirements set out by the Digby Wells Integrated Management System, whilst incorporating the principles of PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Job Objectives
  • Project initiation (loading projects and proposals onto Project management system, setting up the budget to be tracked).
  • Project cost management (such as timesheet tracking, budget tracking, detailed invoicing and debtors)
  • Debtor’s management (client follow ups, invoicing, etc.).
  • Ensure effective communication process between project coordinator, project manager and various project team members.
  • Preparation of meetings, meeting notifications, compilation of minutes and distribution of both draft and final minutes.
  • Assisting the Project Manager with compiling presentations, letters, memos, etc.
  • Formatting all project reports/deliverables in accordance with company standards before the deliverable is distributed to the client.
  • Maintain and assist with compiling sub-contractors agreements and change orders.
  • Data Management and QA/QC;
  • May require office administration duties to be carried out.
  • Have a good understanding of travel requirements and oversee these arrangements.
Qualifications: 
  • Educated to A level standard.
  • A project management certification would be advantageous.
Work experience: 
  • 2-4 years project administration/coordination experience.
Requirements:
  • Project management fundamentals.
  • Project management and financial management systems.
  • Strong capability in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Document management.
  • Resilience.

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • General administration/coordination/project management understanding.

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proactive and eager to assist with other tasks within the office.
