Fixed Term Contract - 12 months Salary Circa: £55,000 + 37.5 hours p/w + 5 years residency required.  Do you love projects? Are you adept at leading and managing multiple Projects at the same time? Then this could be the perfect role for you.This Project Manager role reports into our Head of Portfolio Change, Vanessa Garrett, and is responsible for leading, planning and managing allocated priority projects in our JT Change Portfolio.  The role is also responsible for defining, delivering and managing technical and commercial projects enabling business growth required to meet our strategy.

Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications
  • Project Manager with Telecommunications/ Technical experience.  Able to rapidly assimilate knowledge of new technologies.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the Project management cycle and different methods of delivery.  Experience should include planning & estimation, budget management, risk management & quality management and stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Experience in the creation of all Project documentation including the Business Case and required approvals
  • Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience of negotiating and influencing at senior level stakeholders, potentially balancing different drivers and ambitions
  • Ability to translate business roadmaps into solid delivery plans
  • Proven track record of successfully delivery and able to demonstrate value add delivery
Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications
  • Formal Project Delivery Accreditations (such as APM, Agile or similar) preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of building consensus around change, influencing multiple stakeholders and managing conflicting agendas
  • A self-starter, comfortable at taking the lead to set up projects and drive and motivate teams for successful and timely delivery
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills
  • Proactive and flexible attitude to work
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to dissimilate and deliver appropriate levels of information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to truly understand the underlying needs of the business; acting as a “business bridge” between Technology and the business
