Then this vacancy could be the perfect role for you! We currently have a permanent vacancy as a Revenue Accountant in our finance division. Reporting to our Head of Financial Accounting, Tax and Treasury, this role is responsible for accounting matters with a focus on revenue, supporting the wider finance teams to deliver the project to convert JT Group accounts from FRS 102 to IFRS. The role also contributes to a robust financial reporting framework and compliance with all relevant accounting standards. As a member of this team, you will continually look for ways to help our team get better at what we do, in the most efficient way possible.
Essential Experience, Skills &Qualifications

ACA / ACCA qualified, or equivalent accounting qualification with relevant experience. Part qualified if working towards a qualification will be considered with relevant experience
Strong work ethics and analytical skills, and has solid knowledge of revenue accounting
Experience of working in teams and actively contributing to their success
Must be able to apply accounting knowledge to day to day business operations
Ability to meet targets under time constraints
Professional attitude
Self-motivated individual with the ability to problem solve and work independently with a minimum level of supervision

Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Experience in IFRS 15 and 16 and working in audit with a Big 4 firm is an advantage
Motivated by new challenges, strive to be consistently learning and improving
Discipline for quality documentation of policies, processes and controls
Fully conversant with Excel and other applicable Microsoft Office application with experience in the use of computerised accounting and ERP systems (eg Sage)
