Key Responsibilities
We're looking for someone who has an interest in supporting individuals to flourish, and in helping managers gain confidence in coaching their teams and leading positive career development conversations for the benefit of the individual and the firm as a whole.
You'll be intrigued to understand the breadth and depth of our fast-paced, international business and to build career frameworks that are both innovative and relevant.
- Assess current development and progression frameworks, assessing what is working well, and what opportunities exist to support the future growth of the firm
- Provide consultancy/diagnosis of training needs across the business
- Propose innovative approaches for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent
- Design, deliver and/or source leading-edge development programmes, platforms and resources
- Stay informed of the latest market trends and innovative third parties and products that align well with our culture and vision
- Manage third parties where appropriate
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience operating in a legal or professional services background, and familiar with the needs of an international, fee-earning environment
- Business partner approach to identifying organisational training needs
- Familiar with career development frameworks, programmes and experiences
- Skilled at design and facilitation of in-person and online development activities
- Globally-minded
- Digitally-minded with a focus on user experience
- Pragmatic, balancing the desire for innovation, with the practicalities of a fast-paced fee-earning environment
- A clear and engaging communicator
- Proven advisory and consultancy skills (internally and/or client-facing)
- Relevant professional qualifications an advantage but not essential
