An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a Studio Manager to lead our team with a focus on bringing new FinTech & RegTech products to market as well as providing support and direction to our Communications team. Reporting directly to our Managing Director, you will provide leadership and direction to members of our Development, Product and Business Development teams and network partners supporting our shared vision, strategy and road-map for our transformational services and technology and help to shape the future of our business.
Key Responsibilities
As Studio Manager, you will be working closely with our Managing Director to lead the outputs of our digital studio. Your role will be to mobilise our product, and development teams to accurately scope, plan, budget, and successfully navigate all projects through concept, design, prototype, development and implementation, overseeing multiple clients and projects simultaneously. All whilst making calls on priorities to guarantee our projects are delivered to the highest possible standard.
Other responsibilities will include;
Overseeing the Studio throughput from pre-sale to planning to delivery and deployment
Plan and manage the Studio team disciplines to ensure maximum studio utilisation
Lead daily 'stand ups' to maintain an efficient and balanced level of effort across all teams
Forecast future Studio resource requirements
Coaching and managing the progression of the Development and Product teams
Identifying critical risks and issues and collaborating with the Studio teams to successfully resolve, limiting business impact and maintaining our client's confidence
Iterating and maturing our current studio workflows and creating new ones - ensuring all relevant documentation and training is provided and ultimately adhered to
Make executive decisions on the priorities for the Studio and ensure communication is heard loud and clear across the departments about where energies are required
Plan and execute the support and processes for new service lines, working in tandem with the commercial team to execute delivery perfectly against future sales
Work with Group IT in the completion of customer audit and data handling reports
Represent Vaiie at Group level meetings to communicate activity to supporting business units
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
The following are desirable but not essential;
Held a Head of Department/Studio/Agency position, inclusive of team level management
Successfully built out numerous operational workflows to answer the demand of a busy digital business
Expert level understanding of digital delivery and production approaches
Comfortable managing multiple projects and working with different project teams simultaneously
Experience using project tracking tools such as Jira/Asana/Trello
Commercially focused, working closely with both Project, Product and Sales teams
Able to lead delivery teams confidently, providing direction and arranging resources to support client and business objectives
Mastery of forecasting headcount requirements and maximizing revenue potential in real time
Plan a key role in influencing and developing our company culture
