Systematica have an exciting opportunity for a Tax and Corporate Accountant to join the existing Jersey Corporate team.
Systematica Investments manage approximately $7.4bn (as at January 2019) across a number of futures and equity-based strategies. The firm has a global presence with offices in Jersey, Geneva, London, New York, and Singapore.
This role will have responsibility for reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, regulatory reporting, preparation of financial statements and payroll reconciliations. In addition, there will be responsibilities in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget.
On the tax side of things, the role has responsibility for corporate tax computations, preparation of deferred tax calculations, preparation of analyses for funds managed. In addition, there will be responsibility for providing support to the Corporate Accounting team on tax matters.
It is not expected that applicants will have in-depth knowledge of all areas of tax in all of the various jurisdictions where the company operates. Training is available to support development of knowledge including support for further professional studies (e.g. CTA, ADIT, etc).
We are looking for individuals who possess accountancy skills and qualifications, preferably with tax exposure and applicants who can evidence learning and development in their professional career to date.
