Team Leader : Electronics & Technical Systems

Engineering Enquire

Type:Full Time

Full Description

Here at Ports of Jersey, the diversity of our assets and activities across the airport and harbour creates unrivalled interest, challenge and job satisfaction for our team managing and maintaining the air traffic safety electronics and maritime systems.

As an independent business with a powerful sense of purpose and direction, we’re making impressive progress with our ambitious commercial, capital investment and business-improvement agenda. In addition to investing in a state-of-the-art marine operations centre and a £multimillion airport terminal redevelopment, we’ve been an early adopter of forward-looking technologies including electronic flight strips, ATC tower 3D training simulator and a remote tower system which offers significant commercial opportunities and which we are driving forward with vigorously.

We’re now looking for a great Team Leader to provide future direction to our 15-strong systems and technical services team. Throughout our business, we are clear and candid about expectations, proactively cut through perceived barriers with positive energy and a solutions-driven outlook.  We relentlessly focus on the things that really matter and ultimately deliver great outcomes … and we’d expect the same from you.  Your ability to successfully motivate and engage your team is critical to the role, whilst at the same time guiding, supporting and inspiring them. Ideally, you will have a background working with air traffic management systems in a regulated environment.
