Do you love providing professional services? Are you able to utilise technical solutions involving architectural design, cost and risk mitigation of insourced and outsourced projects and managed solutions relating to traditional and Software-Defined LAN (including data centre networking) and WAN, Network functions virtualisation, network security and application programming interfacing? Reporting to our Professional Services Manager, this role is responsible for the pricing solutions of JT Managed and one-off network solutions for specific deployment while working within time and financial budgets agreed by JT Sales account management and the end clients. If you have extensive experience in relevant IT or the Telecommunications industry, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Extensive experience in relevant IT or telecommunications industry
Professional (CCNP) or higher-level certification in Cisco networking technology is required
Experience and/or certified training on network programmability and device configuration scripting such as yang, python, TCL, bash, ruby and netconf
Ability to verbally communicate at all levels from C or Director level to IT technician level
Key competencies: influencing & persuasiveness, entrepreneurship, empathy, collaborative, problem analysis and judgment, customers focus with flexibility
Good understanding and some experience in network level security
Experience in consultative sales and communicating value propositions

Experience in computer operating systems such as Microsoft windows and Linux distro is desirable
Some knowledge of Internet of things (IoT) is desirable
Broad knowledge & experience in IT-centric service management and IT operations management
Political awareness of the regulatory constraints Telco’s Data Protection and Financial businesses needs to comply with, within various geographic jurisdictions is desirable
Application programming interface experience is desirable
