We are looking for two Technical Support Officers. This varied role combines technical support responsibilities with data analysis and compliance duties.
Key Responsibilities
Support audit compliance: preparing documentation and evidence for audits and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any findings.
Support the coordination and implementation of quality and assurance procedures and standards and monitor these against agreed targets, ensuring they are relevant and proportionate to the operations and functions carried out.
Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of service delivery.
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as incident resolution times, customer satisfaction, and service availability.
Work with GTS managers to develop Data Quality Improvement Plans.
Work with GTS Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to review and adjust existing Asset and Preventative
Maintenance Schedule records and create new record where required.
Contribute to written documents and presentations (though the use of PowerPoint/ Word/ Excel) such as reports, for presentation to a wide variety of audiences.
Develop suitable stakeholder and GTS management reports using Microsoft PowerBI and/or AI solutions.
Analyse data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that could impact business operations or decision-making.
Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks or technical solutions.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical support and data analysis.
Work closely with GTS management to help improve processes and systems.
Propose solutions to business problems and assist in the introduction of these.
Support the GTS Quality team with ensuring regulatory requirements are complied with, and processes are carried out within recognised and evidenced frameworks.
Assist with the GTS document management system in support of Service Delivery and wider Planning / Assurance teams.
Support GTS management with coordination and compilation of routine reports used to inform the wider business at varying levels.
Support the on-going coordination of the Engineering health and safety management system.
Alongside the Service Support Team, act as a point of contact for GTS assurance to the wider business; working alongside the relevant internal departments to encourage collaborative thinking and approach regarding shared compliance requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular reviews of processes and procedures and support the implementation of necessary improvements.
