Due to the continued growth of our FM Services business in the Channel Islands we are looking to recruit an individual to manage and and support our local FM Services team. The role will support Clients pan-Islands and will focus on FM Services including reactive, small works installation, hard services maintenance, helpdesk and resource scheduling.
The post holder will have a wilingness and an ability to work alongside engineering teams providing them with support identified as part of their development plan.
Primary Duties
Assist with the health and safety of FM
Services’ employees.
Create a culture committed to adhering
to statutory and corporate health, safety and environmental requirements in
order to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Manage the FM Services team in order to
deliver the strategy that grows the FM operational business in line with the
Business Plan and compliments wider Channel Islands strategy.
Manage the FM Services team in Jersey
and support the FM Services team in Guernsey.
Identify development plans for all the
FM Services team and identify training needs, offer hands-on support where
required.
Recruit, manage and develop quality employees
to ensure delivery FM Services’ strategy.
Create a culture of partnership with
customers and other agencies and partners, promoting Facilities Services and
maximising business opportunities and operational viability in line with the
Business Plan and overall G4S strategy.
Work with the Hard FM Services Director
to agree, monitor and manage budgets and staffing levels to meet financial
performance and reporting in line with Company policy.
Roll out the FM Services Business Plan
and Strategy and create clear accountabilities within the team.
Participate in the FM Services
organisational development and wider policy and procedural development to
support and further overall business objectives.
The individual will be ideally qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Have proven managerial experience and can demonstrate an entreprenurial flair.
