Full Description
KISCH Global is an Intellectual Property registration, maintenance and renewal agency, specialising in the formalities required for the registering, maintaining and renewal of trade marks, patents and designs globally, and forms part of the KISCH IP group of companies. We are looking to employ a full-time Trade Mark Administrator to assist with Foreign Trade Mark formalities.
Location: St Helier - Jersey, Channel Islands
Minimum Criteria:
- This position is only available for persons who hold the status
of Entitled / Entitled for Work and are residents in
Jersey, Chanel Islands;
- GCSE / A Level;
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- A paralegal diploma will be
advantageous;
- Good command of the English
language;
- A keen attention to detail and
accuracy;
- Ability to work independently as
well as within a team;
- A sense of urgency and the
ability to work under pressure;
- Taking initiative and being pro-active;
- Ability to work on multiple matters
simultaneously and take instructions from more than one person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Updating case management software and billing
software with new files/cases, allocation of pre-payments, client
instructions, official
documents, correspondence, and trade mark details;
- Timeous preparation and application of trade mark applications, assignments and
change recordals;
- Management of diary, deadlines for filings, and progress updates sent to clients;
- Timeous and accurate quoting and invoicing of clients;
- Attending to
client queries and ensuring that they are resolved timeously;
- Assisting with e-filing of trademark applications.
- Assisting with
office administrative tasks, including sending
couriers
The successful candidate will be given extensive training on Trade Mark administration, and the use of our case management and billing software.
