Package- Circa £45,000 + 24 Days Holiday + Pension Scheme + Performance Bonus + Private Health + Dental Package + Death in Service + 37.5 hours p/w + 5 years residency NOT required. Reporting to our VAS Networks Manager, Chris O’Prey, this role is responsible for delivering third line support for all JT’s Value Added Services, IoT, FPS, Messaging and INE. A key requirement is a thorough understanding of all things ‘Signaling’, as you’ll be the technical expert in supporting JT to deliver these key service to our global customer base. This role will also need to drive the continuous improvement of our VAS applications and services. Thorough understanding of Signaling and IP Service Provider environment.
Thorough understanding of VAS platforms and services, in a communications service provider environment, including services and protocols like; IoT, FPS, Messaging, INE, Mobile packet core, SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter.
Good understanding of the networks and infrastructure underlying the VAS platforms and services, including IP Networks and Linux infrastructure.
Familiar with delivering network infrastructure projects, at times with 3rd parties, and recommending Service Improvements in a large communication service provider environment.
Thorough understanding of how to conduct root cause analysis, and provide appropriate reporting, at times assisted by design architects or 3rd party support.
Thorough understanding on how to create and modify operational, maintenance and technical procedures and/or best practice documents.

Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Hold relevant technical qualifications (as defined from time to time) or able to obtain the qualifications within 24 months of appointment.
Affiliation to GSMA working groups on mobile services would be advantageous.
