  Qualifications   Essential Experience, Skills &Qualifications  

• Thorough understanding of Signalling and IP Service Provider environment
• Thorough understanding of VAS platforms and services, in a communications service provider environment, including platforms and protocols like; IoT, FPS, Messaging, INE, Mobile packet core, HLR, SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter and SMS Spam prevention
• Hold relevant technical qualifications (as defined from time to time) or able to obtain the qualifications within 24 months of appointment
• Good understanding of the networks and infrastructure underlying the VAS platforms and services, including IP Networks and Linux infrastructure
• Thorough understanding of how to conduct root cause analysis, and provide appropriate reporting, at times assisted by design architects or 3rd party support
• Thorough understanding on how to create and modify operational, maintenance and technical procedures and/or best practice documents

Desired 
Experience, Skills & Qualifications  

• Affiliation to GSMA working groups on VAS services would be advantageous
• Familiar with delivering network infrastructure projects, at times with 3rd parties, and recommending Service Improvements in a large communication service provider environment
