States Members have paid tribute to a former Senator who passed away recently aged 101.
Leslie White was elected as a Deputy in 1963 before becoming a Senator in a by-election in 1967.
He continued in the role until 1972.
Sharing his contributions to public life in a tribute this morning, Bailiff Timothy Le Cocq explained that he served on a number of commitees, including Public Works, Housing, Education.
He also oversaw the transformation of Fort Regent into a sports, leisure and entertainment complex.
