A “mammoth” 24-hour gaming event will be taking place next week to raise money for a cancer charity.
The Jersey Gaming Hub will be holding the game-a-thon next Friday (30 September) at its Great Union Road base in aid of Macmillan.
Its in-house Twitch Streamer, TheRealTwoM, will be live-streaming from the hub and islanders will be able to join him on Discord as he battles his way through 24 hours of fan-favourites such as Valorant, CS:Go, Rocket League, Fortnite and speed runs of every gamer's retro nostalgia Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
"We have some truly exciting prizes to be won, ranging from a giant baby Yoda teddy from the Chaos to an Astro gaming headset to a £100 voucher for Romerills, with more prizes being generously donated daily, so make sure to check our social media for big announcements!" the Gaming Hub's Samantha Blampied said.
"To be in with a chance to win, you can go to our Macmillan donation page or just drop into the hub to purchase your tickets. Price of a ticket is a £5 donation to Macmillan with unlimited purchases.
"As if this wasn't enough, you can drop into the Hub for a completely free of charge play session on one of our exceptional gaming rigs and massive variety of games! An event not to be missed!"
