Relief Magistrate David Le Cornu concluded that the case was too serious for the Magistrate’s Court to deal with and therefore decided to send it to the Royal Court.

The Relief Magistrate ordered that Mr Conord be taken into custody until 21 January next year when his case will be formally committed to the Royal Court.
