The team behind a St Helier hotspot has partnered up with local promoters to host a community-‘spirited’ gin, rum and beer festival with over 100 different brews and a musical lineup to suit any taste.

Krafty J’s is bringing islanders together for a two-day festival to celebrate their passion for great drinks and great music in People’s Park from 21 to 22 June.
Owner John O’Connell has partnered with local promoters Francisco Brazao and Sam Tumkaew of The Loft, and Ashley Churchill and Harley Wilson of Oscillate to organise the event.
The festival kicks off tonight night with a retro 70s, 80s, and disco theme headlined by the FLEETMAC WOOD DJ collective's Fleetwood Mac tribute.
An entire area will be dedicated to 80s music, DJs, and entertainment.
Saturday will play host to Jersey's largest celebration of beer, gin, rum, tequila and alcohol free drinks, with over 100 different brews.
The organisers said: “From crisp lagers to bold IPAs, sours to stouts...there's something for every beer aficionado."
The night will transport festival-goers to the “greatest era of dance music” with sets from 1990s house DJ Michael Gray, breakbeat/acid house DJ James Zabiela, and progressive house DJ Ian Ossia.
Another stage will be taken over by The Loft and Oscillate to showcase local talent and UK garage acts like Silva and Oldboy Trax.
Mr Brazao from The Loft said: “We are delighted to be involved with Krafty Js Festival this summer and I would encourage islanders to attend the event to support the local music scene.
"We have some great acts lined up including local talent and guest artists."

Jersey's national ballet company Ballet d'Jèrri is set to showcase its talent in Howard Davis Park this weekend.
The event aims to make professional ballet more accessible and encourage people from all backgrounds to engage with dance.
The outdoor setting offers a unique opportunity to experience ballet outside of traditional theatre venues, according to organisers.
The full event runs from 11:00 to 20:30 on Saturday and 11:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, with the main Ballet d'Jèrri performance taking place on both evenings.
In addition to dance, the event will offer food, drinks and various activities for children, including a bouncy castle, face painting, hula hooping, and free open dance classes.

Battle of the Bands
Five local bands will perform at Chambers on Mulcaster Street tonight in a competition to raise money for disability charity Les Amis.
The lineup includes JerseyPopSongs, 88Bunkface, The Getaway, O-Town, and Jim's House.
This family-friendly event will be free to the public bur attendees can show their support by entering the event raffle and donating online or at the event to raise funds for the life-enhancing support provided by Les Amis to islanders with learning disabilities.

Jersey Repair Café
Islanders can get their broken household items fixed for free at St Brelade Parish Hall this Saturday whilst enjoying live music and refreshments.
The repair café will be lrunning this event from 9:30 to 13:00.
Items can include clothing and fabrics, electronics, bicycles and e-bikes, toys and gadgets, computers and tech, ornaments and sometimes small furniture.
Potty Eco Pots' 'Rag Trade' will also be there, with islanders invited to bring along any unwanted clothes and items to be taken home by someone else for free.
A series of free wellness and “chill-out” events are due to be held at the Waterfront this summer.
At noon every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 June to 19 September, the Jersey Development Company will be offering 45-minute yoga and tai chi classes led by Joe Houzé and Ray Malloy at Marina Gardens – the grassed area above the Waterfront car park.
The JDC is also planning to host DJ sessions described as offering "laid-back Ibiza vibes" in Trenton Square at the International Finance Centre.
"Hola Fridays!" will be held between 17:00 and 19:00 every Friday for nine weeks from 5 July, subject to receiving the Bailiff's approval.
DJs include Paul Mack, Craig Alder, Malee, Griff, and Sam Sax. Light bites and refreshments will be available from Cooper & Co and The Loft at Big Maggy's bike shop.
No booking is required for any of the events.
