A 63-year-old man in Jersey is in hospital after a serious assault in the early hours of this morning. He is in hospital with serious injuries.
It happened at 02:15 in Journeaux Street, where a police cordon is currently in place. A 49-year-old man is in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries. The males involved in this incident are understood to be known to each other and no other parties are currently being sought as part of this investigation.
