Flannels Fashion has brought the now empty BHS store for £18million and will create around 50 retail jobs.

The store has been empty for a week following BHS’ collapse, but luxury clothing company Flannels Fashion say they will be open by Christmas.

A Flannels Group spokesman said: “We are very excited to be coming to Jersey, the latest opening within the Flannels expansion.

“Customers in St Helier will be able to buy some of the most sought-after designer products the high street has to offer. We are also delighted to provide job opportunities to the local work force.”
