BoxInBusiness’ latest white collar boxing event was a “huge success” in front of a sold out crowd at the Royal Jersey Showgrounds in Trinity.
Guest of honour was former world lightweight champion Anthony Crolla, who handed out prizes to the 20 boxers who took part on the night.
Winner of the Grant Thornton-sponsored ‘Real Contender’ tournament was Nathan "Kid Chocolate" Taylor, who beat Matt Hill in the final. Nathan also won ‘Boxer of the Night.’ ‘Bout of the Night’ went to Danny "KO" Cole and Charlie "Geezer" Franks.
Anthony Crolla said: “It was an absolute pleasure coming to Jersey again and it was another memorable evening, showing all that is good about the sport.”
BoxInBusiness coach Ben Murray said: “All the bouts we very well contested and the standard of the boxing was very high. It was a huge success.”
