Jersey Police say an 11-year-old boy was hit on Victoria Avenue this afternoon, closing the road for those heading west.
It's believed the boy was crossing the road on his scooter at Bel Royal a little after 15:00, when he collided with a blue BMW.
He was taken to hospital, but his injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.
The road was opened again in both directions, just before 17:00.
