Despite the hot weather, and repeated warnings, it seems some islanders are still not doing enough to prevent fires.
This weekend, 10 fire fighters needed to put out a blaze in some grass, which had spread to nearby trees on Trinity Hill.

The team worked for several hours on Saturday afternoon to tackle the fire before it got worse.
The fire service believes that it was sparked by an unattended campfire, which has led them to issue let another warning to the public.

They have now urged islanders "to be particularly vigilant when lighting fires of any kind, disposing of used barbecues and discarding cigarette butts."
