You never know what you might find while hunting around the island's charity shops... Sometimes the finds can be weird and wacky, other times fashion favourites can emerge, or you can stumble upon a piece of history.
The latter was the case recently for a veteran charity shopper who is using social media to promote preloved items, as she spotted a vintage HMV gramophone from the early 20th Century.
Bargain enthusiast Fiona Walker recently set up social media pages under the name 'Upstylejersey24' to showcase interesting items found and encourage islanders to do their own digging for treasure to support good causes.
Express is partnering with her to showcase the very best of the island's charity shops each week...
This week's favourite find was a vintage HMV gramophone found at Reg's Shop in the Garden in St Brelade, which supports a different charity each month.
This month, funds raised at the shop are in aid of CLIC Sargent Jersey.
Fiona said: "Charity shops aren't all about clothes... I love this vintage gramophone, currently for sale at the amazing shop at Reg's Garden, in aid of Clic Sargent.
"It comes complete with the iconic 'His Master's Voice' logo, and, although it needs cleaning up, it recalls an innovative and unique era of musical entertainment."
HMV stands for His Master's Voice which was a British record label made by the Gramophone Company in 1901. It is famously recognised to this day by the logo of a dog listening to a gramophone that can be seen on the base of this item.
HMV is still operating today, selling video, audio and gaming products.
While it no longer has a store in Jersey or Guernsey, Lockes coffee shop carries the iconic logo on its side too.

Express found a similar gramophone made by The Gramophone Company which sold online for almost £300 in 2020.
Reg's Shop in the Garden operates from the award-winning tourist attraction in St Brelade. They raise money for a different cause each month.
This month, they are fundraising for CLIC Sargent Jersey, which supports children and young people with cancer. You can donate to the charity HERE.
