Any pooches that fancy a doggy paddle or mares keen to visit la mer will have to keep an eye on the time from now on.
As of 1 May, dogs must be kept on a lead between 10:30 and 18:00 in Jersey.
Dogwalkers are also reminded to pick up dog litter or they risk a fine of up to £500.
Horses, meanwhile, will have to exercise away from the beach between 10:30 and 18:00 too.
Those rules are in place until 30 September, after which point, they’ll be free to roam as they please.
In Guernsey, meanwhile, pups have to steer clear of seven beaches, as well as some on Herm.
