A woman walking nearby was also reportedly subject to racial abuse. Police would like to speak to this woman.

Police described the perpetrator as “white, between 30 and 40 years of age, with dreadlocks”. He was said to have been accompanied by two other men, one of which had a dog.

They are treating the abuse as a 'hate crime', and ask anyone with information to call them on 612612. They can also make an anonymous report via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111 or submitting an anonymous report via their online form.
