A 26-year-old man is to appear in the Magistrate’s Court this morning over a disturbance on Christmas Eve that left one man with a stab wound.
Police said the man – who has not yet been named – was charged last night with four alleged offences:
He will now appear in the Magistrate’s Court at 10:00 today.
It comes after Police issued an appeal for more information about an alleged stabbing around 22:50 on 24 December on Vauxhall Street.

They said a woman had received minor injuries, while a man was left in need of hospital treatment for a stab injury following a disturbance on the St. Helier road.
The 26-year-old was subsequently arrested and held in Police custody.
Later, Police asked for the public’s help in tracking down a key witness to the events of 24 December, describing her as female "aged between 28 and 31 years old, 170cm tall, [with] longish dark hair (shoulder length), darkish skin, and wearing a long dark coat".
In a short statement sent last night, they said they were still appealing for witnesses or those with further information, urging them to contact them on 612612 or alternatively on Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their online form.
