Couple in custody after admitting £144k benefit fraud

Saturday 04 September 2021

A couple has admitted fraudulently receiving £144,000 of income support over nine years by giving false information to the Government.

Husband and wife Adrian Mark Bradley (57) and Kelly Anne Bradley (55) pleaded guilty in the Royal Court on Friday to knowingly giving false information to gain income support between 25 April 2010 and 25 June 2019, by claiming they were not living together when they were.

No bail applications were made, and Mr and Mrs Bradley were remanded in custody.

They will be sentenced before the Inferior Number of the Royal Court on 12 November.

The Bailiff, Timothy Le Cocq, was presiding.
